have to take it back now because max kemp has brought to light that vans are actually just deck shoes not skate shoes. oh foolish me (still dislike vans)

so many things to happen this month. most importantly getting out of the country for some peace and happy times. Off to Paris for a week starting Tuesday, back to sign the contract for the new house, then off to Crete for nearly two weeks. I want to lie in the sun with some relaxing music and a good book. To walk around a city I know but not enough. To swim in the ocean, well to touch the ocean again, and splash in the salty puddle. To swidge (real word? I dunno) wet sand between my toes and complain when it gets in my mouth. To be away with the ones I love and forget for a bit the reality of it all. I love home but for a while, I gotta be somewhere else. When we get back, it’ll be back to work for my future, and I’ll work mighty hard at it too, before a change of home for a year. It’s gonna be an adventure filled month but I look forward to every moment of it. Just as long as everything tomorrow goes smoothly..
